"Hi, I'm Veronica," she says with a smile. "I don't think we've met yet. You seem sad. I just got here and I'm trying to keep a low profile. I used to date Logan and well, we don't exactly get along."

Standing in the kitchen, John spots a pretty blonde girl and a large guy he's seen around campus talking. Figuring what the hell, he grabs a couple extra beers and heads into the next room.

"Hey, guys," he says, holding out the two beer bottles to them. "Anybody in need of a drink?"

"WHOO! YEAH!" Logan yells, finishing his latest drink and slamming the glass down on the bar. "Who's up for some swimming?" He strips off his shirt, kicks his shoes away, pulls off his pants and jumps into the pool.
