Party at the Echolls house (After dark)

Logan's house hasn't managed to aquire much clutter in the few days he's been living there, but there is half of a surfboard on the back deck. (It looks as though something bit it in half, and Logan himself has a bit of a limp, but he's not volunteering any explanations

It's pretty tasty.

Rum is an alcoholic drink made from molasses which is made from sugar cane, or the rum is made directly from sugar cane. It's fermented in huge barrels, and then distilled to concentrate the flavors and raise the alcohol content. Then it's left to age in oak barrels for years... {thinks he sees you looking bored} ...but you're not interested in all that.

So what's Raslak?

Radek walks out of the utility room, locking it behind himself. His hair sticks up in all directions and he is dressed in worn coveralls, covered in grease and smelling vaguely of vodka. He wanders out to the living room, wiping his hands on his pants.

"Is almost finished. By next party, perhaps." He blinks. "Well, erm, as long as next party is not tomorrow."

Jake eyes him suspiciously. "Are you ever going to tell me what you're doing in there, or am I just going to have to wait until it goes boom?"

(ooc: I had Radek doing something funky with the coffeemaker because it struck me as something he'd do. Hope you don't mind too much, and feel free to comment of Jake's weird behavior or something.)

"It will not go boom!" Radek says emphatically. "I know what I am doing. I will show you when it is done."

(OOC: Not a problem. Anyway, he probably souped it up, rewired all the lights, and programmed the doorbell to play Lowrider the same day he moved in.)

Jake is still suspicious, but that's his default state anyway, so he just nods and holds out a beer for Radek. "Will it be awesome?"

Jubilee bounds into the house, waving hello to everybody. "Hey, what's up with the music?" she says, plopping down next to Logan and taking some chips from a bowl on the coffee table.

Logan glances at the stereo. "Some old CD that belonged to my ex-girlfriend. Got a DJ coming tonight - soon as he closes up shop."

John walks into the party and hopes to see somebody he knows. Luckily, he's managed to get Pumpkin to stay back at the dorm with some bottles of hair gel, which seems to be the only thing it eats.

Frowning, John heads off to get himself a beer.
