The Beach, Sunday Afternoon

Kate was having a picnic for one on the beach.

Or she'd just wandered here, decided this was as good a place as any to have some snacks, and sat down. Or maybe this was all just a session of moping around, taken to the beach instead of her room because she did have some consideration for her roomie

Robin loved the beach. So he came down with both his surfboard, and his banjo in it's case, since he couldn't decide which he wanted to do just yet.

Spotting Kate, he made his way to her.

"Hi."

It took Kate a moment to figure out someone had shown up. She was very distracted, after all. And he was pretty small, if green and felt-y.

She did shake herself out of her... whatever it was, though, and shot a vague smile in his direction.

"Hey, Robin."

"Having a good summer so far?" he asked, sticking his board in the sand in a position that blocked most of the sea spray from his banjo case.

"It's been okay," she said, although it hadn't. "Workshops are pretty interesting. Yours?"
