Later Jaina would bemoan the fact that she'd apparently jinxed herself again, and also that she ended up singing again. And then she'd go get laid and life wouldn't seem so bad, la.

For now, though, let's talk about the sailor suit-looking thing "Marta" was rocking. At least it wasn't curtains?

Jaina- um, Marta, whatever- turned around, her mouth in a little O of surprise. "Kurt! That's not very nice!"

Kurt made a terrible face at her. "Well, Father's not looking so you can't tattle!"

Leia was going to kill someone when this wore off. It was probably her fault for tempting fate, though.

Liesl pouted. "But I'm almost seventeen! I can drink champagne and I can kiss boys, too!" She spun over to Artoo. "Rolf, you're wonderful!" she said, then proceeded to have a one-sided duet with him.

Rory, thankfully, had been holding Juliet when all the biting had been going down, so it wasn't quite time for Baby's First Gremlin Bite.

But that didn't mean her father hadn't sat her right by his leg and declared her to be Gretl.

Juliet didn't understand anything right now. Rory, meanwhile, was totally understanding and enjoying her camera.

It was like the gremlins had understood Karla was having a rough time of it and had wanted to cheer her up. This was certainly doing the trick, if the size of her grin was anything to go by.

Karla glanced around, looking for this Brigitta. When she realized that Leia was talking to her, she shook her head and just laughed a bit harder. "No, no, thanks," she said. "I want to make sure that you're, uh, magnificent performance is documented for all time."
