"And I'm glad of it," Millie said cheerfully, but there was an undertone that spoke of the caring and concern she had for his well-being. "I hope you'll be back working here again."

The door opened to the store and Liir slipped in, smiling as he saw Millie at the counter.
"Hello. I hope things've been well around here."
Slightly darker, slightly huskier, and his voice held a faint accent. But it was Liir.
