The, umm, Junk Yard, Saturday

Apr 25, 2010 00:02

Marcus (who was as yet unaware of the influx of wee tiny people) stopped dead several feet from where the junkyard had been. And he stared.

The junkyard was still there. It was simply at the bottom of eight feet of clear, clean water ( Read more... )

He's around, probably trying to figure out if what is now underwater will be salvageable. Presuming the water ever goes away.

[No need to talk to him before heading for the Junks!]

Jaina had Plans for today. These plans involved a droid. It was going to be the best droid ever, too, if she could figure out how to build it.

But when she saw all the water, her jaw dropped in dismay. "What happened?"

Marcus looked down at her, noting the look. "Your guess is as good as mine, kid."

"But I need parts!" she said plaintively. "Where'd they go?"

Climb the stairs and grab a boat! Ride it around, bump into each other, and/or wage watery war!

Wow! Tim wasted no time claiming a Junk. "Captain Desmond, terror of the seven seas!"

Jaina had a job to do. She had a boat to take apart. With permission even. She got into one of the boats, started looking around for where its primary systems were housed, and could only hold her multitool would do the job.

Just checking, but some of us have a shuttle or space ship parked at the Junkyard. Would they still be accessible? How long will it stay like this?

Hi,

I have to apologise, because I completely forgot about the ships in the junkyard when planning this, and so forgot to check with those who own said ships. To answer your questions: it will be like this until midnight, the water will disappear, and nothing in the junkyard will have been touched so, yes, they will be accessible as usual after midnight. If that stuffs something up for you, please let me know: I'm sure a junkyard that can fill itself with water can also open a corridor in that water to grant access to a ship.

If I may ask, does Worf have a shuttle in the junkyard? I only ask so I can add it to my list if he does.
