Reese didn't like the fog. It made her twitchy and anything that made her twitchy instantly made in on her list. It didn't help that monsters came with the fog

Jack... Should not have stayed outside for the past two days defending the island. In his defense, he wasn't really thinking rationally after the first hour or two.

He burst wild-eyed into the trooper station and immediately threw his weight against the door to hold it closed. "RELOAD!" he shouted over his shoulder. "I NEED A RELOAD! MONKEYPONYMONKEYPONYMONKEYPONY!!!"

Reese dropped the phone, she didn't ask any questions. This was Fandom and there was a fog with monsters.

One of the Troopers already ready to roll out tossed Jack the ammo he needed. Reese ran to Jack, gun already out.

"How many?"

Jack caught the clip expertly, but dropped it while trying to load his gun. He didn't seem to notice. "Thanks, man. I owe you... AAAAAAAGH!!!!!"

It was a good thing he hadn't managed to load his military-issue assault rifle, because he started trying to fire it at the giant furry snake that had tossed him the clip. "PERIMETER BREACH!!!" he yelled at Reese. "They're in the building!!!"

Reese watched the clip drop and was about to say so when he screamed and started firing at her Trooper. With a military issue assault rifle.

There was only one way to react to that, she kicked Jack.
