Momoko had borrowed more of the here-Momoko's clothes, written a note for her handwavy new roommate, Francine, and left fairly early to see what this non-vampire-destroyed Fandom was like. Her first stop was, of course a cafe full of home-cooking.

Her table was a full of plates, empty and full, and she was sipping her green tea, staring out a window at the familiar being totally unfamiliar.

Warren had been planning on swinging by the Fina to check on Fai and Kurogane. This meant, mostly, that the dishes did a little about-face-and-flee all at once when they saw him, and then drew lots to decide who would be the poor schmuck to inform Warren that they'd left months ago.

But all was not lost, was it? Because over there? That was a familiar face.

Warren was actually smiling as he slid into the seat across from her.

"Nice haircut."

That was totally a 'hello, how have you been, nice to see you here out of the blue like this, I've missed you,' in Warren-ese.

Momoko blinked at him, confused. Another person commenting on her haircut or was that a new pick-up line?

"I'm sorry, I don't know who you are?"

She kind of hoped it was a pick-up line...
