Ellie was a little surprised when she arrived at the hotel to find holiday music still playing. She wasn't complaining too much, though. At least not right away.

Peyton came to check in. "Hi, I'm Peyton Sawyer. I left a message about needing a room about 2 minutes ago?

"Oh, hey Peyton. Welcome back," Ellie said. "Yep, got the message."

She reached for a key, handing it over. "Here you go."

"Thanks," she said with a smile. "I appreciate it."

"No problem. You're in room handwavey," Ellie told her. "Enjoy your stay!"

Having actually had to leave town to spend Christmas with his family, there should have been no surprise that Adrian was about a drink and a half in before he even got back to the hotel to head up to his room.

This didn't stop the music from catching his attention, though. "You know, Christmas is over. The music can leave us now."

"I didn't choose it," Ellie told him. "It seems to be the only thing keeping Gunther in a semi good mood. If you can call it a good mood."

"I see. Has his goodish mood been forcing this on you all day?" Adrian had no problem with the holidays, per se. He'd just been to a few really great parties back at Court, in fact. But there was only so much tra-la-la-la-la'ing one could take.

"Pretty much, yeah," Ellie confirmed. "I'm still sane, though. For now."
