Between Edward leaving (wah!), the play happening again tonight, and sparring with Azula tomorrow, Dinah's mood was all over the place. But she thought she'd come to the right decision about something else

"Floral ninjas with fabulous shoes," Vida said. "So tell me about yourself, sweetpea. Where are you from, do you fly on a broom or turn into a cat, or are you just fabulous?"
Dinah chortled, then paused a second, and concentrated, reaching out for the daffodils, which flooooated over to her. "That's the big thing most people would notice. Otherwise, I'm just a Jersey girl who likes thrills."
Dinah snickered. "I do it with popcorn when I'm watching TV with my friends. And get in tug-of-wars with my friend Tony. He can kind of do the same thing." She grinned and leaned her elbows on the counter. "And otherwise, anything that's kinda dangerous. Rappelling or motorcycles or, I want to bungee-jump off the Causeway, but I'd rather not get arrested." She tilted her head. "What about you? All I know about you is you sent a nice e-mail when Miss Doolittle went back to England. And you have great taste in accessories."
"I'm a professional fairy godmother," Vida said, smiling. "Up until recently I was driving cross country bringing joy, fashion, and skin care tips to those in need. And then I found myself here and decided to settle down for awhile."
"So far so good," Vida said. "Everyone has been so terribly welcoming and accepting. And no, no union. We're more of a loose collection. No dues to pay that way!"
