Arthur was there to listen, of course, and somewhat... grateful... that the sermon was less of the TMI, and more of the familiar.

Of course, the subject matter made him thoughtful, and so he was left lurking quietly.

Francine, possibly unsurprisingly, had Opinions on the subject. "I guess God can do what he wants about letting us know stuff because he thinks we can't handle it or whatever," she observed while Castiel was rubbing his leg. "But I wish people would cut that crap out."

Now that wasn't a loaded... anything with Arthur.

At all.

He stared straight ahead. Past Castiel. At the back of the church. "There are times it's necessary." A pause. "And times it isn't."

Loaded in that way where he had no idea which way the weights were stacked, exactly.

"Wow, that was pretty much a normal sermon." That being TV normal, which was what Chuck knew. "I have to say I'm kind of disappointed. I was hoping you'd make someone cry this week."

Some people (Chuck) got a sick satisfaction out of making people cry. He didn't think Castiel would feel the same way, however. "Never mind. Just thought you were going to out do yourself with the scary stuff."
