Things Reborn, Sunday
Ben was so glad that he wasn't particularly attached to anything in his story. It made today so much easier. He only had to deal with the lingering effects of a headache (and a good night's sleep had helped with that) and his mask that had been turned into a human who was just trying to help.
"I can rearrange things a bit!" the mask offered. "What do you think would help with customer flow?"
"I think it's good as is," Ben said. "And I wouldn't want to mess with Layla's filing system."
"Okay. Want some coffee? I can make that," the mask said.
Ben wasn't sure this was true, but it was just coffee. "I'd appreciate that. Thanks a lot."
"You're welcome!" the mask said. "Where's the coffee maker?"
