Pensive!Peyton was pensive today, what with Brooke leaving and wondering what she was actually going to do when she herself left. And with the CD finished and nothing to do but wait...

Well... sketching was in order. And loud music.

Angela on the other hand, was ridiculously perky, and found her way down to Groovy Tunes with a couple of frappuccinos.

It had definitely been far too long since she'd stopped in to see Peyton.

Peyton smiled at her. "Hey, Angela."

"Hey, yourself," she replied, sliding one of those take-out cups across the counter towards Peyton. "I come bearing my usual caffeine, in a slightly cooler form."

"And conversation. Did you know there are people trying to play croquet with flamingos in the park?"

Peyton took the coffee and blinked at her. "Wow. I must be more tired than I realized. I thought you just said people were playing croquet with flamingos in the park."
