"I'm pretty much free," Harry said. "And the TA thing's a good gig. Except...is this old school photography? With film and all that?"

Veronica nodded. "Oh, yeah, I'm old school. Had my own darkroom back in Neptune. Digital photography is too easy to fake when you're working on a case."

"Most of the time, yes," she said. "I sort of fell into it by accident in high school but it worked out."

"Not exactly. My best friend was murdered and my father lost his position as Sheriff after accusing her father," Veronica explained. "He ended up starting a PI business and I helped him out."
