So, Loki couldn't back down from a fucking challenge. Especially when he was so thoroughly baited and backing down would have mean admitting...something. And that was how he came to be standing outside the tattoo shop, waiting for Daisy

It would mean admitting that he was a wuss and full of hot air. Daisy knew this, because now it was that she'd have to admit the same thing if she backed down.

She thought about coming to the tattoo place straight away after work, not wanting Loki for a second thinking she was backing out, but she just couldn't do it. It would have gone against the sanctity of the uniform, or something. So she was a little later than she thought she'd be since she swung by her apartment to change first.

"Oh, good; you're here."

"You doubted me?" he asked, smiling at her when she arrived. "I keep my word."

Most of the time.

"It'd be stupid of you not to," Daisy pointed out. "I know where you live."
