Park, Thursday Morning

With graduation this weekend, the school expected most of the graduation guests to begin arriving today. So, to make sure they felt welcomed, the student council had set up a small gathering in the park where the guests could arrive, mingle and relax before heading off with their guests and friends

Nancy frowned as she wrote hers out. "No idea, but I hate having to make my own. I should give myself a new name, it's not too late."

"Just write your name," Dave instructed her with an eyeroll. He hand things he could be doing that did not involve parks and name tags.

Giles was checking the place out just as much as he was looking for Buffy, all while trying to look as casual as a Giles could look. It wasn't working so well.

It wasn't that Buffy hadn't seen Giles since she'd been here, it was just that she hadn't seen him here since she'd been here. It was like a little piece of home coming to visit her in an even weirder place than home.

Which was why there was a tiny blonde throwing herself at him in a hug. "Giles! You came! How are you? How was the trip? Did you bring me anything worth killing?"

"I did, and except for the sudden lack of oxygen, I'm fine." Not that he minded the hug, just the opposite, in fact. But less of it was important.
