"Good mooooorning, sweetie!" Charlotte came in with a big smile and a lot of muffin.

The muffins were to be used as material to help soothe over Dale having to deal with what else she'd brought.

No, not the dog. Something else.

"Charlotte! What a pleasant surprise," Dale said standing up. "Thank you. What did I do to deserve muffins?"

"Nothing more than be your wonderful self," Charlotte stated, simply, grinning as she set down the basket of muffins and leaning over to give Dale a kiss. "I thought you might like some. Plus, I need your opinion on some wedding invitations."

"A-ha," Dale said with a smirk. "So there was a ruse!"

He leaned in as well and gave her a quick-work-appropriate kiss. "I would of course love to take a look at invitations. What are we looking at?"
