It was warm-ish. It was after classes. KKG was meeting on the beach.

A day at the beach? Like Hannibal was going to miss this. Swim trunks on and shirt gone, he grabbed a drink and wandered through the sand.

Man, he loved warmer weather.

Gavin didn't much mind that he was a pale desert boy. This was relaxing and it was probably one of the last times he'd be at the beach. He shucked off his shirt and enjoyed the warmer weather.

Maybe he had a thing for water when it was his turn to decide on meeting places. Or just the shirtless guys. But John was around, decked in swim trunks and hoping the sun would offer up an early tan.

Hannibal wasn't starting a game but he was sitting in the sand nearby in case one started. And, you know, getting the added benefits of sunning himself.

Gavin was a KKG boy and he was carrying some Cheetos. His hair could have been better but two out of three ain't bad.

Lounging in the sand was as close to studying as John was going to get this week. It wasn't like passing and graduating was really offering him anything right then.
