Anyone coming to fight club this week would see the ball pit and piles of mats from weetiny weekend set up again, along with some colorful punching bagsWhich the adults could play with too, if they wanted

Dinah dimpled at her. "Thanks, I will. You can call me Dinah."
Dinah glanced at Leto in a way that was probably a giveaway, her fingers curling inward. "Your dad lives down the hall from me, and he was teaching me the baliset. His roommate is my fencing coach. And your Aunt Ghanima is my teacher for some special abilities I have." Hunith looked to be about eight, maybe nine? The same age as the Victoria Jess had been chattering about? "If it's not rude, can I ask who your mom is?"
"Yes, he is. Uh. If you run into Gawain?" Dinah looked a little nervous. "He's Prince Arthur's kid. And, uh. Mine." She tried to think of what to say about that, and settled for, "He's a little loud..."
At Hunith's statement about her two fathers, Dinah blinked. "Hunh." She snuck a look at Leto, who wasn't meeting her eyes at the moment. "Soooo. Who's your other dad?"
It really kinda did. Dinah resisted the urge to apologize for her kid again.
"Whooooa." Did not see that coming. Dinah managed to stop gaping, and said with a bit more warmth, "He's one of my best friends here. He's awesome." She looked at Leto, then Hunith, and said, "So, you're adopted...?"
"You are?! And no, I'm not." She grinned, shooting a teasing look at Leto, who tried to look completely ok with this. "I surprised both my fathers. Probably because they couldn't stop arguing."
Which was way too fascinating to let go, darnit. "Okay, now you have to explain that, 'cause I can see you want to." Dinah grinned. Definitely Merlin's sense of humor, at least. And now that she looked, ears! Cute ears, but still! "What were they arguing about?"
And yes, it's fun to watch Leto being the one squirming, for once.
"I don't think the subject really matters," Hunith confided her. "It can be anything, really. I'm used to it." She looked at Leto. "Or what would you say?"
Leto had nothing to say on the matter. Or plenty, depending on how you saw it. "I..." probably can't say that your other father is rude and annoying "...think we just disagree on most matters."
Dinah snorted. "You think?" She grinned at Hunith. "Did they ever tell you how they were fighting when your dad got changed into a bird?" She gave Leto a raised eyebrow. "I don't think it gets much better than that, really."
"Never," Dinah said cheerfully. Then to Hunith, "Let's just say your dad Leto got fed up with your dad Merlin, and locked him up where he wouldn't have to deal with him." Saying it was a cupboard might sound too mean, after all.

"Oh, so King... Prince Arthur is teaching you. And I don't have a mother, I have two fathers."
At this point, Leto tried to look completely calm at at ease.

"Merlin," she replied cheerfully at Dinah's question. "So I visit Camelot sometimes. Do you know him?"

"No mentioning of magic!" he told Hunith in Chacobsa. "It is not common knowledge."
