Daisy typically didn't believe in cases of the Mondays, except in rare instances, so it was really no surprised that she was in a fairly good mood as she worked, an earbud plugged into one ear, at transcribing some of the weekend's broadcasts for the records, as she did every Monday, despite probably being the only one who ever used them, ( Read more... )

Daisy glanced over from her computer work, blinking a moment before taking the earpod from her ear. "Hullo," she answered back. "Can I help you?"

She hoped so. The leaping heart in her chest half-wished something was wrong. Not that she wanted something bad to happen, just that she could never ask that without some hope that she might get to go and actually, you know, do her job and stuff.

"Correct," Daisy nodded, fighting back the faintest hint of a grin. It was partly amused by the question but also partly concerned if there was an emergency. An emergency that she partly hoped for.

Smiling faintly, Daisy said, "At least it's better than murders and kidnappings and theft?" which she only half-believed because, even if they weren't getting murders and kidnappings and thefts, they were still happening. She sighed a little as she amended her statement, "It's better than fraud, anyway."
