Oh, man, the weather was amazing! Single layers, not puffed up wearing every shirt he owned just to try to stay warm.

This was a beautiful thing. He waved at Angela as he walked past.

Angela glanced up from her reading material as he passed, offering a smile of greeting and returned his wave.

"No need for all the coffee to stay warm today," she said, leaning up on her elbows.

"This is amazing," he said, grinning at her. "I'm not knee deep in snow and shivering. "I'm half tempted to swim, but I don't feel like finding out the hard way if the water's not warm."
