Mohinder had almost made it to the Perk without being hit by any flurries of rocks. His hand was on the opening door when, "Ow," his luck ran out. He looked up and, "What on earth? Ow ( Read more... )

Since Boo apparently wasn't sick at all, Minsc (who hadn't, at this point, realized that he was looking a little yellow because he didn't even notice rocks when they struck his head anymore) decided to let the hamster have some coffee for his troubles, because everyone knew that giant miniature space hamsters loved coffee, whether they were green or not. Minsc avoided the stuff, for the most part, not unless it has lots of sugar and some honey in it, too, but he would not tut-tut the loves of his friend even if he thought the stuff vile.

He lifted a hand in greeting to Sir Mohinder when he saw him, while Boo hopped on the airpot to help Minsc fill his cup. "Hallo, Sir Mohinder! Is something wrong? You look a little blue!"

"Aside from the change in colouring?" replied Mohinder, rubbing one hand with another a little. No. Still blue.

"It's purely an external condition, I assure you," he said. "I see you haven't managed to miss the rocks."

Minsc looked minutely confused for a moment, as if he didn't know what rocks Sir Mohinder spoke of, but then it hit him in ways that the rocks seemed to fail to make an impact. "Oh! Yes! Quite unusual, that! It's like there are invisible kobolds in the sky or something!"

Momoko was blue, but barely, as she skipped into the Perk. She was pleased to see that there was no 'Do Not Serve This Girl Caffeine' posters up anywhere (yet) and she ordered a sticky sweet coffee and a sticky sweet before heading to a table to read her umbrella a blue-splattered school newspaper and relax.

Mohinder looked up at the mostly not blue girl and asked, "Has the rain of rocks eased?"

Momoko turned to the gentleman and smiled to see he was similarly besplattered. "Not really. It seems to be random or something; you know Fandom! I just managed to avoid a lot of them because of this!" She held up her paper to show the spots. "And I ran when the first few rocks fell."
