The Perk, Saturday evening

Willow was back for Homecoming, of course. She wanted to see her friends again, and all the things that she missed about the island, like the squirrels and of course coffee

After the scene with Marty and Abby in the hotel, Angela just needed air. She wandered through town until she found the Perk, where she ordered a chai latte and promptly began to season it with the salt of her tears.

Willow got a sad, distracted wave by way of greeting.

"You can't trust a world where people don't eat Activa," Angela confided. "I had such awful cramps and gas before I started a cup-a-day regimen. And I know my twin sister had the same problem, at least she did before she ran off with the circus and married a dwarf."

"With elephants or without?" Willow asked.

[chasingangela]

"With, of course!" Angela said, terribly affronted. "How dare you insinuate my sister would be involved with the kind of circus without elephants?"

[willbedone]

"No insult intended!" Willow said. "I just didn't know if it was one of those non-elephant type circuses with the surreal costumes and the insane acrobatics like that one that showed up in my town right around the time they had a tour to promote, even though prior to that occasion we'd never had a theater to speak of."
