His intent on going into the gallery had been to check out the art exhibit. That was until he saw Kevin sitting on the floor. Lucas approached Kevin cautiously, saying, "Hey, you okay?"

Kevin looked up at Lucas and wiped his eyes again. "Hey, man," he said, smiling sadly. "I'm fine." It was an obvious lie.
