Outback Steakhouse, Friday Evening

The walk from the dorms to the restaurant was uneventful. Tony and Andrew got a table near a window and the waiter gave them menus.

"Should we get an appetizer?" Tony asked Andrew.

[Thread is for the date! The Steakhouse is open to all, though.]

"We could get that onion thing," he replied, looking over the menu. "Oh, or cheese fries. I'm not really picky." He was pretty picky.

"Did Australian's invent cheese fries?"

"Cheese fries are good," Tony said, not sure that onion was a good idea on a first date. "I always thought we invented them. Canadians, I mean. You ever have poutine?"

Andrew laughed. "Poutine is something you eat? It sounds like something you do when you're lactose intolerant."

Tony laughed. "It's fries with fresh cheese curds and gravy. Like, the ultimate cheese fries."
