This was not the living room of the Iklest Koala cabin. Unless someone had done some FABULOUS redecorating.

Momoko turned around, only half expecting to see her alcove right behind her where she was sure she had just left it. She didn't, though, and so she turned back towards the construction site, shifting the armful of snacks and comics with which she'd planned on spending quality time.

"This is very, very weird."

"Ah! Bridge! Hi!" She smiled at him then looked at his handiwork. "Uhm. It's a very nice wall, yes. But it's not the right one. It's supposed to be the wall of my cabin so I can read."

She shifted her arms so that a bag of chips was facing him. "Snack?"

At least the trek through the Preserve gave him a chance to work on the wedding vows without people hearing him mutter.

Unless you define the small Teal Deer who followed him here as 'People.'

Xander was currently testing whether Teal Deer liked twinkies.

Early in the morning, there was suddenly a very confused Murdock at the construction site. It was supposed to a simple walk for Houston, you know, out the front door, down the street ...

...then here.

Blink. "Uh..." Blinkblink.

Houston only seemed confused for all of two seconds before heading over to check out the new person.

His owner however... still looked confused.
