Okay, three, if you included the fact that Charlotte was thinking that those workshop things at the school started tomorrow.
One was because you had nothing better to do.
The other was because you were upset and trying to forget about it for a bit.
The third would be that you had to teach a workshop thing, she supposed, but that one didn't apply to her. The others, though, seemed to create an interesting mix of both of the first ones. She hated to assume (really!) that it might be the same case for the other woman in the bar with her at the moment, but, odds are, if they were, drinking alone certainly didn't help in the slightest.
So she sent a friendly smile her way.
And hoped that she didn't think that she might have been the kind of person who was usually drinking on a Sunday evening. She wasn't!
