The Park, Monday Afternoon [After Classes]

There were tables around, some laden with food, another with nametags. A big sign read, "Welcome Back, Alumni!"

The interesting thing? No one was there setting it up. Need provides, after all. Or, perhaps, in this case? Fandom provides.

There's a party. Everyone's welcome.

For there are people with whom one must reunite! And nametags, so that you can recognise those people. Not all of us have aged equally gracefully, after all.

It took Eve a couple moments to find her nametag because really, all the people!

She found Johnny's nametag and briefly contemplated ripping it up. She elected to be nice, though, and just grabbed hers instead.

Jeff was here.

He still looked a lot like Jeff.

Just taller. And with a tan. And wearing his 'JEFF MURDOCK' tag upside down. And grinning like an idiot.

Annette grabbed her nametag and stuck it on her blouse. This should be fun, she thought as she started to walk around.

Eve wandered around, looking for people she'd known at Fandom. And she'd known rather a lot of them, too.

She was checking out the people present. This felt so odd... twenty years later and they were back in Fandom. After her break up with Dick, Annette didn't think she would step foot on this island again. Eh. Who knew?

For there are people with whom one must reunite! And also food to be eaten, because, dude, free food. Even twenty years later, who's going to pass THAT up?

Free food? Eve was so there. It was fantastic to see a spread of food and not be the one who'd arranged for it all. Stupid friggin' gallery parties... but anyway! Free food meant Eve was there, loading up a plate.

Annette got herself a cup of hot chocolate and moved off to sit down on an unoccupied bench. She was content to sit and watch, but also to stay warm, thus the hot chocolate.

He ate a lot of food and hoped desperately nobody female came to talk to him.

Or he saw anybody female. That would be bad, too.

Though it IS Fandom. We might still be able to reunite if the world's ended.
