Isabel made time to stop by the Perk before heading out to dinner with Parker and River.

"So do you only remember to use the phone when you get back on the island?" she asked.

Isabel raised an eyebrow.

"I have fun!"

"Tell me one fun thing you have done lately," she said. "And anything involving Logan and a lack of clothing doesn't count."

"Beat the hell out of some bikers," Angel said. Because, in spite of getting arrested after, he had enjoyed that.

Isabel sighed, "You have the strangest ideas of a good time."

"I don't make fun of your hobbies."

"I tease because I care."

"So what've you been up to?" Angel asked.

"This and that," Isabel shrugged. "Mostly I'm trying to figure out what to do with my life now that I no longer have to save a planet. Do you need another office flunky?" She was kidding. Mostly.

"Think you can handle working with Jaye?" Angel replied.

"Possibly? We do have an appreciation of glitter in common," she said.

"Boykissy is not a perk of the job no matter what Jaye is telling people," Angel said.

"Oh well forget it then," Isabel said, throwing up her hands. "I'm just going to have to look elsewhere."
