The Devil's Nest, Monday Night

Sep 17, 2007 17:24

Musubi was finding very little for herself to do with so many of the other employees spending their shifts cleaning.

She was half tempted to 'accidentally' drop a bottle just so there was something for her to do.

And it certainly didn't help that her employer was busy playing the piano this evening, not even ordering a drink.

Such a bore.

Upon not finding Lucifer waiting at the bar, Wilson had politely asked Musubi for a glass of chilled white wine but upon turning towards the figure in the lounge playing the piano, the mortal had changed his order to a merlot.

He carried the red cradled in the palm of his hand, subtlely warming the wine with his body heat as he approaced the piano. There was a sense of pleasure across the bond, response to the music Lucifer coaxed from the insturment and rather than moving to immediately interupt the angel, Wilson retreated to a chair close by, where he could enjoy the playing.

The wine glass, rested lightly in the cup of his hand, within easy access for his own lips and perhaps also as an offering.

Continuing for a while, Lucifer only spared a small glance over toward Wilson. Mostly to allow the mortal to know he was being acknowledged.

Once he was finished with the song, Lucifer turned to face him. "James." And then reached over to steal a bit of wine. It was just a little sweeter when it came from Wilson.

There was a patience in Wilson that said he was more than content to sit there all night and listen to Lucifer play if that was what the angel wished to do.

This did not mean he didn't smile warmly when Lucifer turned towards him after the song was through.

"Good evening, Lucifer. That was a beautiful piece you were playing tonight."
