Serenity Cove, late Saturday afternoon

Over in the sunken Serenity Cove, a giant squid was fighting a shark. Who knows why? It's the kind of thing that giant squids did when bored.

The shark was biting and attacking and charging and the squid was thrashing and squeezing and just generally being huge.

It was awesome.

Hamlet grabbed a seat on the beach to watch what was going on just beyond the cove. For all the terms that he had in his wide vocabulary, the only phrase that immediately came to mind upon watching a giant squid and a shark wrestle each other right in front of him was "Rad. Totally rad."

He might have also fashioned a little flag that read "Go giant squid!" and waved it back and forth a bit.

After picking up a few supplies from Canary & Turtle, Evie got caught in a current and ended up in Serenity Cove, panicking all the way. Until her raft pubmped up against the beach near Hamlet. "Hello? 'Go giant squid'?" She looked over her shoulder and her eyes widened. "Ooooooo...."

"Hello, there," Hamlet said to the surprise castaway visitor. "You've arrived just in time; the shark and the giant squid only started fighting a few minutes ago." He motioned around to the beach. "You may wish to get out of the water, however. There's always a chance that they might decide to take on a third opponent."

Anakin'd had a long couple of weeks.

He needed to blow off steam.

To him, that meant it was a totally logical leap to then try and wrestle a giant squid.

He dropped his robe on a nearby rock and waded into the water.

The giant squid flung the shark away because he was bored with the stupid shark.

Oh, hey, here was somebody new for him to attack. Hooray!

The giant squid whipped a tentacle at Anakin.

Anakin reached out to grab onto the tentacle as it flew towards him.

Riding a squid would be a lot like flying a starfighter, right?
