Valentine's Day Dance, Town Hall, Friday Evening [Part 1: 8pm-10pm]

As everyone made their way into the Town Hall, they found the place decked out Valentine's style, with pink and red streamers, paper hearts, confetti, requisite amounts of glitter, and approximately 99 red balloons, give or take a few.

Tables were set up with food and drinks, and the dance floor was ready. All that was needed were party-goers.

"Don't push your luck," Aly replied. "There are only so many compliments I can dish out at one time."

"Oh?" Wade grinned. " And what would it take to get another one? Death defying stunts? Knife juggling? Boykissy? Please don't pick boykissy. I'd really rather keep my heterosexuality cred."

Aly wrinkled her nose. "Boykissy's definitely out." She had a thought and grinned. "You know how to dance?"

"Do I? I make Fred Astaire seem like he had two left feet!" He paused. "I just wasted my straight cred with that comment, didn't I?"

"I don't know what Yuki's been telling you, but nothing happened between us. He might wish something did, but take my word on it, nothing happened."

Josh came up behind Aly, holding out a rose. He tapped her on the shoulder with a grin.

"You look great."

Aly turned around with a bright smile. "Thank you," she said with a bit of a curtsy." She took the rose and went to give him a hug. "So do you."

"I had a very nice nap earlier today," Josh said, hugging her back and kissing her cheek. "And didn't traumatize my mentees too badly. They'll bring me pastries if I play my cards right."
