Lorelai rushes into the diner and gives Luke her best puppy dog eyes. He wordlessly hands her a large mug of coffee and a piece of paper.

She opens the paper, reads her daughter's note, and whips out her cell phone, avoiding Luke's nasty look as he points to his "No Cell Phones" sign - an exact replica of the sign in the original Luke's Diner.
