Anyone else weirded out by Sheldon wearing the Star Sapphire logo? It's never sat right with me.

I can see him owning the whole ring spectrum t-shirt set, and choosing each shirt based on a cyclical rotation, or planned ahead of time to more fully represent the emotion he should be channeling that day. Maybe he felt a dinner with Penny would require a lot of extra love on his part?

Considering Sheldon.... YEAH... maybe that would make more sense. Haha.

It's the Indigo shirt that doesn't sit right with me, as he seems actively opposed to compassion.

As long as I'm here, maybe I should advertise my Big Bang Theory/GL crossover?

It's my first (only, so far) fic, so I don't know if what all I need to put in a header, but it's set when Leonard was dating Penny, and there is a main character death at the end.

That's not the Indigo shirt, though-- it's the Star Sapphire. Because they target the shirts towards boys, they print the Star Sapphire symbols on more of a purpley shirt as opposed to the pink-ish one normally associated with the Star Sapphires.

I've seen him in Indigo before, though, is what I was saying. I know because I thought "Compassion? Mr. 'That seems like their problem' is wearing the Compassion shirt?"

I can deny their chemistry in an anything-more-than-friendly sense, but that's not the point

it isn't messed up. It makes sense. We all see things through the filter of our own experiences, and if your relationship with your bf is in ANY WAY similar, they're gonna become connected in your brain. It just happens! and it's cute. I wouldn't worry about it :D

A lot of people do that in fandom, from what I've seen.

Eh, shipping based on real life is cute. But...but Sheldon doesn't want sex or romance. Ever. And she doesn't see him that way. At all. Sorry, but I just don't get this ship AT ALL. Sry, but I feel like people who ship it are missing the point of their relationship. :P

Exactly. And I don't just feel that way because I ship Leonard/Penny. Sheldon is asexual; they all but confirmed it in S1 when they said they didn't know what his "deal" is, because he doesn't have one. (And we all know that sex is paramount to Penny in a relationship, given that she's, you know, broken beds and had sex in public places.)

Then again, I tried this argument on SP shippers and they yelled at me and told me I'm missing the point of shipping, and they'd ship it even if it doesn't make sense. :/
