I actually can't find him sexy because of the dad thing, but he's very good looking and I know where you're coming from.
I don't think moral ambiguity is such a bad thing, really. Choosing your family over basic black and white morality doesn't make you a spectacular person, but it isn't a terrible crime in my books, either. I find characters compelled by their own values a lot more interesting and dynamic than the token do-gooders out to save the world no-matter-fucking-what and willing to make assumptions about others and trod all over the people they care about in order to "do the right thing".
Anyways, I digress. Go ahead and find him sexy, anon; he's a wonderful father and husband and a really awesome character. (I have a list of awesome characters, you know, and he's pretty high up on it.)
But he's better than a lot of the characters in terms of right and wrong. At least he seems like he tries to do what he thinks is right for himself and his family. And I totally agree about the hot part. He's my favorite character because of it (although if it makes you feel better, I've really started liking Sylar/thinking he's really hot a lot recently, and he's way worse than HRG.)
He came over because he stole Bianca's date's phone and slashed his car's tires, so Bianca would think that he stood her up, so that she would phone Cameron and ask him to come over. He came over because he mnaipulated the situation so she would ask him to come over. You really picked a horrible example here.
Cameron was a creep in that episode, who was showing immense disrespect for Bianca as a person and her ability to make her own choices. You overhear something and think her date has bad intentions? You TELL her, you don't secretly manipulate her while committing theft and property damage. If I was Bianca, I'd never talk to him again.
Me too. This kind of behaviour is way too often portrayed as 'romantic' on TV and in movies. X_x So I was very happy when Bianca told him off. She has dealt really well with the issue, all in all... though I still sort of dread the continuation. ^^
I fully get you. A lot of people, especially when they're younger, don't get how messy relationship situations can be and how there's still no villains in those situations, it's just how life goes. I see Keeley's divorce/marriage as one of those messy situations that happen. That doesn't make her or anybody a whore/slut.

I'm kinda surprised that there are that many people who both know about fandom and aren't down with it, huh.

(And I think that celebrities' personal lives are just that - personal. I'm not going to judge them for what they do.)
