I recommend the book, as well. Very brilliant, and different enough from the movie for both of them to be excellent in their own way. :)

No offense, I've watched a ton of legit loli-bait animu (LOOOOOOOOOL MOE-TAN), but Nanoha is, imo, DBZ with little girl fanservice. I never liked DBZ, so I'm no fan of this.

I'm not hatin' on your opinions, but, that's how I see it.

I know, I know, it's a tired line, but the first half of the first series really is bad, it's a CCS ripoff with loli fanservice. The second half of season 1 and the entire of season 2 has sat at the top spot on my favourites list ever since I saw them.

You don't want to know the flak I got (and still get) when I put 2 episodes of Nanoha/As a week on at our animesoc, that said, by the end I believe most of the society decided to go watch strikers.

tl~dr People should give Nanoha a good chance, correct secret maker is correct.

Also, this show has some of the most fun shipwars EVER, especialy after Strikers.
