Given the interest in having monthly themes for the comm I'm going ahead with the idea - this post is just to gather everything relating to the themes together.

If you have a suggestion for a theme you want to see recs for, please drop a comment to this post & we'll put it to use. Also, any feedback, comments or questions relating to Monthly Themes should also be directed at this post. :)

Theme Rules:

Monthly themes shall run from the 1st of the Month until the 1st of the next Month; there shall always be 1 day overlap between one Theme and the next for any last minute entries.

You can post recs unrelated to the monthly theme as normal.

When posting a rec for the monthly theme please follow the Theme Posting Instructions below to make it clear what theme it is for.

As with normal reccing on this comm you can make a themed rec for any of our supported fandoms, genres, mediums etc.

Theme Posting Instructions:
Subject Line: must say "Rec for month's theme of whatever"
When making your rec please make sure all the normal information is included; author/creator/artist, rating, description, medium, any pairing/fandom involved.
If the rec's relation to the monthly theme is ambiguous please include how you think it relates.
Make sure when tagging your post that you include the Monthly!Theme tag.
