Second Floor Common Room - Wednesday Night

Kawalsky wasn't just in the common room. He was in the common room with enough junk food to last the night, pillows, all the blankets he could find and a bunch of chairs. The TV was playing the third hour of a Rescued by the Alarm marathon. It was the one where Bessie didn't get into the college she wanted and Shriek kept getting into the oddest

A monkey, chimp to be exact, made it's way into the second floor common room from the outside.

"I, um..." Haruhi tilted her head a bit, unable to grasp what the chimp was trying to communicate. "Are you supposed to be here?"

"Oooo!" Marco pondered having fun with the random person he didn't know and looked around for something to toss at Haruhi.

Haruhi had no idea what its intentions were, nor did she know how to handle a chimp, so she was just going to keep asking questions until something worked. "Er, do you know where you belong?"

Marco walked over to the fruit bowl and tossed an apple at Haruhi. He may have been a little bored.

Haruhi, not exactly having the quickest reflexes in the world, attempted to catch the apple but instead, it toppled right out of her hands and went right for the floor. She sighed, "I'm not hungry, thanks."

Marco nabbed the apple and tossed back into the bowl. "Oooo?"

"And you..." she trailed off, giving a look of defeat; maybe there was no use trying to find out where it belonged. "Probably don't even understand a word I'm saying, do you."

Marco looked indignant. "Oooo! Ooo! Oooo!" He ran in a circle around Haruhi.

If there was one completely awkward moment Haruhi had to pick during her time in Fandom thus far, a monkey-- that came out of nowhere, no less-- running in circles around her would have to be it.

And she still didn't know what to do about it.

So she opted with staring at it some more. "Um-- down boy?" she tried.

Marco got bored, and dizzy, and went off to torment Mel.

And he comes back as a boy down at the bottom.

And that sound coming from Haruhi? Was a big sigh of relief.

"Eww. What's a monkey doing in here?"

Marco glared indignantly at Mel. "Oooh ooh oooh!"

"You're not here to steal something from me again are you?" Mel glared. "You might not have eight arms but I'm not going through that again."

If chimps could say WTF? this chimp would be doing so. Instead Marco settled for an outward "Oooo?" and inward WTF?.
