Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon After Classes

It had been too long since they'd last had a Japanese meal...well, since the New Year. But that seemed so long ago and they were craving it badly

It may have been a rather oddly placed meal time, but Hikaru and Kaoru took their supplies and moved into the Third Floor common room to make some curry and udon. The rice was steaming away in the cooker

Overpowering, maybe, but delicious nonetheless. Barbara looks up from her laptop to see the twins cooking. "Smells good," she remarks off-handedly.

"Curry can't smell bad." They reply with grins. Well, it probably could to some people, but they weren't really concerned with them at the moment.

Barbara sets her laptop on a nearby table and walks up to them. "I'm not arguing with that. Tell me there's extra."

"Totally." Kaoru dropped the rest of the ingredients into the curry pot. "We'll have way too much, in fact." He bit his lip and stirred a little more. Maybe making the whole box was a bad idea.

Overpowering, tasty. Almost the same, right?

Shawn wandered in, and found himself a space on the couch. "What's it you're making in here tonight?"

"Curry!" The twins did a mini cheer. Curry was totally something one could celebrate.

"Awesome," Shawn laughed. "The smell, is leading me to believe you're way more talented chef's than I am."

"No way. Never made it before." Kaoru grinned. "The instructions are just really easy to follow."

Matilda follows her nose to the smell of the curry. "Man you guys didn't tell me! That smells like curry. You better be sharing that with me!"

"If you didn't eat it, we'd be offended and have to force feed you!"

Hikaru, up from another Udon-check, ruffles her hair cutely.

"Good!" She sits down with them and watches The Daily Show with them. She can only watch TV in small doses but she doesn't mind too much at the moment.

Hikaru sits leaning against her after turning off the heat under the Udon. He was gonna let it cool a little before doing anything else with it.
"It's ready~" Kaoru called over his shoulder, grabbing the bowls he'd brought with them.

Sokka pokes his nose into the room. "What smells so... GOOD?"

"Curry! Help yourself." The twins smile and wave their spoons at the new comer.

Sokka helps himself. And then looks around at the number of people in the room and the amount of curry left over, does a little mental math, and helps himself some more.

"This is good!" he says to the twins, between mouthfuls.

"It better be! It's hard to screw up something so godly." Hikaru smirked, tilting his head to the side a little. "Who are you, by the way?"

Juggling was fun, but there were things going on in the common room, and Nova had to investigate.

"Hello~" The twins wave their spoons at Nova in greeting.

"Hi," Nova said. He stared at the cooking supplies and the people eating.

"Want some?" Kaoru asked taking another spoonful of the heaven-sent curry.
