This morning, after waking up screaming at the top of her lungs, "GET OFF MY FOOT! GET OFF MY FOOT!" Annette quickly realized that she was not in Kansas anymore. Literally.

Co-ed? The dorms were co-ed? Was that in the brochure? Did her parents skip that part?
"Uh," Okay, he was reading, she shouldn't interrupt.
"Uh, hello." Brow raised. "I don't mean to interrupt you, but do you happen to be on the wrong floor or anything? You know, just wondering and stuff, because I wasn't aware the floors were co-ed?" She blinked and hoped that didn't sound rude.

She knew she had interrupted him and felt kind of bad for it, but it was best to know who lived on your floor, right?
"I'm Annette Hargrove, room 508, with Cally."

"What's wrong with your foot!?" she asked.

Then she blinked and tilted her head, "My foot?" Pause. "OH! My foot! I was dreaming. A nasty looking troll had a hold of one of my feet while his buddy got ready to clobber it to death."
She smiled, sort of. "I'm sorry. Did I wake you?"

Annette sat back down, her apology still plastered to her face. "You can go back to sleep, I won't bother you, I promise."

She sat up a bit more, hopeful. She forgot to eat last night and her stomach was having a field day. The smell of popcorn made her mouth water and since the popcorn started flying around the kitchen area, did that mean it was good for everyone else too?
Slowly she stood up and wandered over, "Hey. That's a lot of popcorn. You can catch pretty good. Um, I'm Annette. You wouldn't happen to want to share, would you?"
