Fourth Floor Common Room, Tuesday Evening

Isabel decided that rather then go crazy and attempt to make multiple types of cookies, it was easier to just make a single kind in bulk. She's currently mixing what appears to be a metric ton of sugar cookie dough. There's an assortment of cookie cutters and a mulitude of icings and sprinkles to decorate the baked cookies with. "Hi, Isabel," Sam said as she walked into the room after in no way wandering past Cedric's room, "What're you...oh. You're making cookies. I'll just go, ah, sit over here," she said, sitting on the other side of the room.

"Hi Sam," Isabel waved. "I'd ask you to help but I think my fellow students would probably shoot me."

"Understandable. I'll just be over here, um, having nothing to do with the cookies whatsoever," Sam picked up a magazine and started leafing through.

"Well I hope you'll at least have a few to eat when they're all done," she said, adding a sprinkle of nutmeg to the mix. "And have you seen Jack around? I need to talk to him."

"Isabel!" Molly called when she saw her. "Ooooo! Cookies!! Can I help?"

"Sure," she grinned. "There's some dough in that bowl over there that needs to be rolled out."

"I can do that!" Molly said and went to the sink to wash her hands before turning out the dough. "Man, it feels like I haven't talked to you in forever. How've you been lately?"

"I'm doing okay," Isabel said, sorting through the cookie cutters. "I survived the trolls and the pageant, I'm not sure which was more traumatizing. I'm heading off to Tortall with Alanna this weekend and I need to survive finals. And I still haven't finished my Christmas shopping."

Jude limped into the common room with crutches, a wide dreamy smile, and a steadily growing collection of hickies. "Cookies? Awwwwwwesome."

"Get comfortable," Isabel said. "The first batch should be done soon."

"Need help?" Jude offered, perking up a bit.

[izzyalienqueen]

"There's all kinds of stuff for decorating, if you want to help with that," she offered.

Billy came into the common room and didn't quite manage not to wince at the carols.

"Hey Billy."

"Hey Izzy. How's things?"

"Busy," she shrugged. "Exams coming, holiday shopping to do, the usual..."

After spending the past few days studying in her room Naomi decided to venture out into the common rooms, "hey," she said as she entered.

"Hi!" Isabel waved. "Ready for cookies?"

Naomi nodded, "yes please," she grinned

"Good, because I think I've made enough dough for a thousand cookies," she said. "You can help decorate them if you'd like."
