Outside Hunting class, 7th period

Blair was bouncing excitedly as he waited in front of the hunting class. Angel was in town and according to the radio, he had made it through the meeting with Mr. Winchester alive. Well, not alive but still breathing...or...whatever. There had been no killing and that was a good thing

As John headed to class, he paused in front of Blair and his sign. "You're here early this week."

"I wanted to make sure to catch all the students." Blair nodded, pointing at his sign.

"Relax," John told him. "I'm not about to let your friend be used as a practical demonstration." He paused. "Unless he starts treating the class as a all you can eat vampire buffet, but I don't think that's a likely senario."

"I'm sure Angel got something to eat before he came." Blair said absently before shaking his head. "But even if he was starving he wouldn't eat your class. He's not like that, man. Seriously."

Bel was hungover, waaaaay hungover as he stumbled toward class Wednesday afternoon. He paused and blinked blearily at Blair. The sign made him flinch a little.

"Are you okay, Bel?" Blair peered at his friend worriedly.

"Headache," Bel mumbled. He groaned and rubbed his temples.

[lovechildblair]

"Ouch, man. Are you sick?" Blair lowered his voice and asked.

Class was back in session, so Nadia was betting that Blair's protest would be back in session as well.

He didn't disappoint. "Hey, Blair,"

"Nadia!" Blair grinned and waved his sign at her. "How're you doing, man?"

Nadia shrugged, still smiling despite the internal flinch at his sign's message. "Good. Walter's not dead, so the world is looking nice."

"Yay for alive Walter!" Blair grinned.

"What are you protesting now?" Schrodinger asked from behind Blair.

[lovechildblair]

"Killing." Blair said, turning around to show Schrodinger his sign.

"Sharp wooden objects?" Schrodinger asked.

[lovechildblair]

"People use them to kill vampires." Blair said. "I'm hoping to avoid that today."

Setsuna had taken to wandering that afternoon, or perhaps just marching her assembled mini-troll troops. They seemed to think that's what it was as they followed her through the halls of the school, though. She wasn't quite sure, but they seemed to be abuzz with something akin to excitement for some big battle. She thought they were all delusional, really.

She stopped when she saw Blair and his sign, reading it over carefully, thoughtfully. Her head tilted. "What about sharp metal objects?"

It seemed to her that would be a much more effective thing to protest against killing than wooden ones. Although wooden ones took longer to kill with, so maybe it was the humane aspect Blair was concerned with?

"Depends, man." Blair said. "I'm mostly concerned about people not using sharp wooden objects to kill vampires, but if you're up to something violent with your sharp metal objects then I think you should get rid of them too."

"Huh."

That was a rather....specific thing to protest. Setsuna scratched her head a little, amused slightly by the sudden flash of an image she had of Negi-sensei going after Evangeline-san with a little wooden shiv and Evangeline-san just laughing her little vampire head off.

"Have you...been having trouble with such things recently?"

She decided not to go into the being up to something violent with sharp metal objects part. Blair suggesting she get rid of Yuunagi was like Blair suggesting she chop off a limb.

"Not really." Blair shook his head. "But my friend is visiting the class today and he's a vampire. I'm just trying to make things safe for him."
