Second Floor Common Room, Tuesday Evening

After a good all-out run around the island and a shower, Anders set up camp in the second floor common room for the night. Several large boxes from Pizza Planet were stacked up on the end table next to a bowling-pin setup of soda bottles, and the TV was tuned to Gelmoore Gals, mostly as background noise

Marty flops down on the couch. "Gelmoore girls. Awesome!"

"Volleyball?" Marty asked. "You mean with the jumping and the spiking?"

"And the running around in shorts," Angela said, rolling her eyes. "We had to pick a sport and it was the only one I liked."

[oatmanspatient]

Marty's facial expression at the moment is the reflection of him thinking about Angela jumping up and down in shorts.

Apparently it's a nice thought.

Angela snuggled in, resting her head on his shoulder. "Dork," she said affectionately.

[oatmanspatient]

Marty slipped his arm around Angela for better snuggle potential. "What? I can't think about you with the jumping and the..."

There's that face again.

"Okay. Maybe I am a dork."

[chasingangela]

"My dork," Angela said, possessively, kissing him on the forehead. "So ... I hear there's this dance in a couple weeks."

[oatmanspatient]

"Oh really? I heard about it myself," Marty said returning the kiss. "Think you'd like to go with me? I promise not to take you to any restaurant where we would end up as the main course."

[chasingangela]

"And this time you didn't even get shot before you asked," Angela said. "I'd love to. And whioever Rory goes with, her date doesn't pick the restaurant."

"Well if you want to make it a tradition of me getting shot we could always go down to the shooting range," Marty said giving Angela a nudge.

[chasingangela]

Angela looked horrified. "Thanks, but I like you in one piece," she said. "One unwounded piece. And guns are icky."

She kissed the side of his neck. "Did you join any clubs at the thing yesterday?"

[oatmanspatient]

"Gun club," Marty said slightly distracted by the neck kissing. "I figured between that and being a TA I'm covered in extra curricular activities."

[chasingangela]

Angela giggled. "That makes me picture clubs meeting on your back or something," she said. "I'm doing newspaper again and Damn the Man! with Blair."

"Hey."

"Is for horses."

"They also like apples, and sugar cubes. And oates I think."
