Lavender is cooking up a storm. It had all started when she decided it was her turn to cook after all the free food she’d eaten in the common rooms since she arrived in Fandom. But it looks like she got a little carried away.

Luke poked his head into the common room.

"Food?" he asked hopefully.

"I knew you looked familiar," Luke said with a grin. "I'm in the pop culture class, too. I'm also taking Interstellar Relations, Criminal Justice, and Astronomy."

"I'm so baffled by computers!" Lavender grinned.

"The computers I can handle," Luke said. "It's the alphabet that I'm having problems with. And the food." He bit his lip. "I sound like I'm about five years old, don't I?"

"We all have out weaknesses." Lavender shrugged. "Let me know if you need help with the alphabet. I'd be happy to help."

"I appreciate it," Luke said, grinning. "Rory's tutoring me--I'm teaching her my alphabet, she's teaching me mine. But it's always nice to have someone else to help, too, right?" He ran a hand through his hair. "I can explain computers to you if you'd like."

"I met Rory this morning. She seems nice." Lavender grinned. "I'm always happy to have help. Mac is very handy for that."

"I haven't met him? Her? It? yet," Luke said, sounding apologetic.

"Her. Mac is a nickname. She's awesome. She makes cookies." Lavender confided.

"Anyone who makes cookies is a good person in my world," Luke agreed. "I'll have to meet her."

"She's over there if you'd liek to meet her now." Lavender gestured in Macs general direction.

"I think I will," Luke said, finishing his dinner. "Thanks for the explanation of food!"

"No problem, Luke. It was lovely to meet you. I'm in 322 drop by anytime."

Peter grinned at Luke over a plate of food. "You're in Interstellar Relations, right?"

"That's me," Luke said, grinning. "I'm Luke."

"Peter Pevensie," Peter said, shifting his plate so he could offer a hand. "Nice to meet you not in class."
