5th Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

John Dorian is sitting in the 5th floor common room, attempting to conceal very large quantities of paint. However, he is not doing a very good job about it, so anyone poking their head in can probably see not only that there is paint, but that there seems to be inordinate number of pastels. Cally peeked her head into the common room, and noticed the paint.

"Okay, who are you and what are you planning on doing to my common room?" Cally asked, as she walked up to JD.

"Can I, uhh, have that paint, please?" Cally asked.

[girlsnamehere]

JD comes back to reality with a bit of a snap.

"Oh yes. Of course!"

He handed her the can of paint.

Cally takes it with a smile, and pulled her Swiss Army knife from her pocket to open it up. "You getting settled okay, JD?"

[girlsnamehere]

"Yeah, doing great. Classes haven't started yet, but I've got two classes tomorrow."

[sogothcally]

"Ouch, double-feature, huh?" Cally finally popped open the lid of the paint can. She dabbed a finger in it, just to check how mixed it was. She then bopped herself on the nose with the paint-finger, just because. She smiled up at JD.

"We got any brushes?"

[girlsnamehere]

"Yeah, they're on the table."

JD pointed to indicate a slighlty smaller pile of brushes.

"Humor and Medicine and Music. They should be fun!"

[sogothcally]

"Hey, we'll be in the first one together, actually," Cally said, picking up a brush. "Neat."

[girlsnamehere]

"Cool. Pippi will be there too."

[sogothcally]

"Right," Cally said, looking at JD for a second. "I'm gonna go, uhh, paint over there." She pointed across the room. "Thanks for the supplies."

[girlsnamehere]

JD looked kind of sad to see her go.

"Oh, ok. You sure you don't want to help me with this..."

He looked at his blank patch of wall.

"...masterpeice?"

[sogothcally]

Cally didn't want to disappoint the poor guy. "Oh, I can stay here, I guess. Are we painting anything in particular?"

[girlsnamehere]

"I don't know. Not daisies. I don't want to paint daisies."

I want to paint daffodils.

[sogothcally]

"How about... robots? Big orange robots?" Cally offered.

[girlsnamehere]

With daffodils. And ray guns.

"OK. Robots are cool. Can they have ray guns?"

JD put down his periwinkle and made a move for some bright yellow.

[sogothcally]

"What about Bob guns?" Cally joked. "I'm totally good with ray guns."

She started painting a vaguely Cylon centurion shape with the orange.
