Salle [after workshops]

Anakin needed to let off some steam, so he snagged the remotes and his wipeboard from his room and headed down to the salle.

Pulling both lightsabers from the weapons lock-up, he scrawled Live Fire Workout in Progress. KNOCK BEFORE ENTERING. on the board, stuck it to the door and closed it behind him.

Then took off his outer robe overdramatically

Peter headed down to the salle after 'freeing' Willow from Xander's evil twin. Seeing the white board on the door, he knocked carefully, glad to run into Anakin again before the other boy left.

Now it was Peter looking sympathetic. "That's understandable. Though given what your Chancellor said while we were on Coruscant - that you're an extraordinary Jedi who's already accomplished much, I can't imagine you'd be too far behind if at all."

Anakin smiled. "You met Chancellor Palpatine?" He practically glowed at the praise. "And he said that about me?"

Pleased that his ploy had worked, Peter nodded. "I did, yes, at the Galatic Senate. And he did."

Anakin grinned harder. "He's an amazing man," he said.

"He certainly seemed to be in the few minutes I spoke with him," Peter agreed. "It's good to have such a friend at your home."

Anakin nodded. "He's watched out for me since my arrival at the Temple, practically." He ran a hand through his hair. "It's nice to have a friend who's outside of the Order. It gives me a new perspective."

Peter unconsciously echoed Anakin's nod. "A friend at your home that is, outside of the order. You have many here."

Anakin smiled. "Thanks," he said quietly.

"It's the truth," Peter replied. "You'll be missed."

"And I'll miss all of you," Anakin replied. "It's going to be awfully quiet without Jello dragon invasions."

"I'm sure you'll have things to occupy your mind," Peter said. "Though perhaps not as ridiculous as Jello dragons or snakes falling from a plane." He smiled. "If we had comparable weapons, I'd so very much offer to spar now to move beyond the sincere moment. But I'd prefer to keep Rhindon in one piece, yes."

Anakin sighed. "No, probably not." He smiled. "I wish I could smuggle back some weetiny bunnies. They'd have fun in the Temple."

He gestured at the second lightsaber in his hand. "If you'd like, we could go half-speed with the lightsabers."

"From all I've heard of the weetiny bunnies, I wish I'd seen them," Peter replied with a smile. "They sound like they'd be fun anywhere."

He raised an eyebrow. "I'd love to if you think it would be fine."

Anakin smiled. "I did with Rory earlier and she doesn't have your battle experience." He handed Peter the spare lightsaber. "Just be very, very careful. It's much sharper than a sword and I don't want to deal with Willow if I manage to get you hurt."

"You'd not be the one getting me hurt if we were sparring," Peter replied with a smile. "Though you're right she'd not agree."

Stepping back, he glanced at Anakin for permission and ignited the lightsaber carefully. He shook his head. "It's so very strange there's no weight beyond the hilt."
