The package he'd been waiting for from home had finally arrived. Jaye figures she might as well show up, just to prepare herself for that whole other planet thing, and the food worries her. Maybe it's like sushi, and it's only gross until you try it.

Still, she might poke at some things first. Literal poking. Anything that jiggles, someone else can eat.

Jude didn't actually have a question - well, he had several hundred of them, but they were all dopey and things like, 'do we need our passports?' to cover the whole nervousness of going to another planet.

And not having anyone believe him.

"Uh . . . it's, uh . . . 'nother planet and stuff . . ."

Yep, not the best at the vocalisations.
