Third Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

Dawn was stretched out on one of the couches and flipping through channels.

"Oooh, sharks."

After a few minutes, she was feeling a bit hungry, so she got up to make herself a sandwich. Any resemblance between the song she was humming and the Teeth theme song was purely coincidental.

Dean had gone wandered in, brightening when he spotted Dawn. He walked up behind her and slid his arms around her waist. "Hey," he said, resting his head on her shoulder.

"I have homemade pie," Dawn offered him a forkful, "but you can't tell my boyfriend I shared."

Dean took the offered bite. "Today is apparently a pie day. Sammy fed me some of the one he made at lunch."

"Sam made pie?" Dawn looked him over. He looked healthy. "And you ate it? How was it?"

This totally isn't Cally's floor.

Cally totally doesn't care. She plops down on a sofa. "Hey everyone!"

"Hey Cally! What's up?"

"Not much," Cally said. "The Viper refuses to fix itself, baking is dirtier than you'd think it is, and my ex is secretly ten years older than me."

Isabel blinked. "What?"

Alanna blinked at the TV and eeped a little.

Parker noticed Alanna's reaction. "Hello?"

"Sharks?"

"Yes?" Parker checked the screen. One was jumping out of the water. Almost playfully, but with lots and lots of teeth. "We find them entertaining?"

It was perhaps not a huge surprise that, after a strenuous afternoon of lying with Pippi and Parker, a little shark action was exactly what Tyler wanted on TV.

He came into the common room and flopped into a chair.

Nadia was feeling a bit better after beating the crap out of sparring with Joxer in the gym and wandered up to the third floor to find Walter people.

"Oh, hey, Tyler,"

Tyler raised his fingers in an abbreviated wave. "Hi Nadia. So you came back."

Walter came in after work and spotted Nadia talking to Tyler. He made his way over to say hello to them both. "Hey."

You can only ponder brainbreaky things alone for so long, so Anders went in search of people. Lots of people.

"Hi!" he announced, just about bouncing but not in a Blair way into the third-floor common room. "My floor is boring tonight."

"That's what you get for living on a boring floor," Cally said. "Hi old man."

"Hey!" Anders crossed his arms over his chest and mock-glared at her. "Respect your elders, little whippersnapper."

He wandered over and poked her lightly in the arm. "Hi."

"Hi," Cally said back. "I made pie today."
