Dawn grinned at Dean, appreciating the effort. And hey, amoebas were funny shapes, too. "It's perfect. Really." She munched a piece of bacon. "I know I've told you before, but you're a good cook."

Dean smiled at the compliment. "Someone had to cook for the bottomless pit that is my brother. Gave me a lot of practice. Though not at making funny shaped pancakes, sorry."

Dawn examined her pancakes. "No, they're funny shapes. I didn't say that had to look like anything. You're good." She poured a miniscule amount of syrup onto them, then took a bite. "Really good. And Sam ate a lot, huh?"

"How do you think he got to be so tall?" Dean asked, only half joking.

"I smell bacon!" Joxer exclaimed, hopping into the common room with a clang.

"Yeah," Dean said, realising he probably should've cooked like he expected the usual breakfast hordes. "Um, don't know how much is left, but..."

"Oh," Joxer said, taking off his helmet. "Don't worry about it. I think I still have a few turnips, so I'll be able to fend for myself." He then pulled two small turnips out of the top of his helmet.

Dean eyed him and made a mental note to add Joxer to the list of people whose cooking he was never touching. "You're welcome to whatever's left in the kitchen," he added because dude, turnips for breakfast were just vile.

After failing to find Dean at the camp, Sam started checking the dorms. He waited until Dean wasn't standing right by Dawn before making a beeline towards him. "Who's Ivanova?" he asked sharply.

Dean groaned. "You going to hit me on the head with a frying pan too?" he asked his brother.

"I don't know. Is there a reason I should?" Sam replied.

Dean rolled his eyes. "I was under a spell or something. It wasn't my fault."

Ivanova was looking for Pip. Or Pippi. Or Sam . . .

Well, anyways, upon smelling pancakes she hoped they would lead to the usual suspects so she entered, hand in hand with Maia. And froze.

"Uh . . ."

Maia looked from Susan's face to the boy standing there and knew instantly what the 'uh' was for. Her grip on Ivanova's hand tightened and her smile faded. "Let's just go." She said quietly.

Ivanova nodded, squeezing Maia's hand. "If you want to," she said with a small smile. Herself, she might have burst into giggles. Nervous reaction, of course.

Maia nodded, she knew they had been under that spell but her insides squirmed as she looked at this guy knowing what he had down with Susan. Jealousy colored her face as she swallowed. "Yeah." She said quietly.
