2nd Floor Common Room [Saturday Afternoon]

After recieving textmessages from Xander updating him on the situation- and the fact that everyone was going to be confined to dorms tonight- Bridge decided to venture out of 121 and up to the second floor common room. He's got the TV on and is sort of half-paying attention to it. Mostly it's just there to drown out the eerie quietness.

After reading the sign sending them back to the dorms, John wanders by the second floor common room. Upon seeing life, albeit quiet life, he walks in and waves.

Bridge waves back.

"What..." He scowls as soon as he starts talking and nothing happen. "I. Need. To. Talk," he says very slowly.

Bridge just shakes his head. And then facepalms. "Radio..." he mouths. "Good luck with that."

Alanna came into the common room, a frown on her face and a bag slung over her shoulder. A sullen Faithful sat on her other shoulder.

Bridge opens his mouth to say hi, then clamps it shut and rolls his eyes, opting for just a wave instead.

Alanna waved back and sat down. She pointed at the television and gave Bridge a thumbs-up. Then she waved Faithful.

Bridge can't help but give a silent snicker as he sees Faithful's sullen expression. He gives Alanna a thumbs up.

Having been confused and worried all day and at the same time catching snippets of other people's confused and worried thoughts, River was now totally exhausted. She looked for a place to just curl up and shut everything out when she noticed Bridge. At least that meant a clear conversation was possible. Wandering over to him she smiled weakly and put her hand on his arm. Good to see you.

River! Hi! Bridge grins, and slips off a glove so he can "hear" her better. Yay for having someone to talk to. Sort of.

River grinned back and gave him a hug. Yes, talking to someone was good. I've been picking up things all day, but it's been all one sided and it makes my head spin, she replied.

Bridge nods. I've been in here all day, by myself. So it's been quiet. He makes a face. Bridge is not really a fan of quiet.

Sam sat down on one of the sofas, arms folded in front of her. She was really not happy to be sitting this one out.

John waves because he really can't do anything else.

And he gives a thumbs up, hoping she gets that to mean he's asking if she's all right.

Sam waved back, pointed to herself and made an A-Ok sign, then pointed to him, trying to ask the same.

John nods and then mouths, "Radio. I am screwed."

Rory wandered in, looking much less upset than the situation actually warranted.

She waved.

Alanna waved back. Faithful glared, upset with the world.

Rory scribbled on her whiteboard and then held it up.

Neat printing read, Do we know what's wrong YET? And hi, Faithful.

Alanna shook her head, but she pointed down at her cat and flashed a thumbs-up sign. Then, she put her palm to her heart and looked very relieved.
